Basic Information:

Now I am a senior student at University of Science and Technology of China(USTC), majoring in pure mathematics. My interest lies in geometric analysis, low-dimensional topology, mathematical physics and algebraic geometry, especially how they interact with each other.   • Dec.2020-Dec.2021: The Geometry of Gauge Theory. Instructed by Asso. Prof. Bin Xu, USTC. Final report
  • Jul.2022-Aug.2022: Topics in Ricci flow. Instructed by Asso. Prof. Frederick Fong, HKUST. This is a summer research program in HKUST. Notes on Hamilton's paper

  • Sep.2021-Jan.2022: Teaching Assistant of Mathematical Analysis(B1).

• Talks

  • Jun. 5, 2021: Soul Theorem and Soul Conjecture. This is a student report I gave when students from East China Normal University visited our school. I heard about this conjecture when I was taking the Riemannian geometry course given by Prof. Shiping Liu and felt it interesting. So I read the paper and gave a presentation of Perelman's proof.
  • Dec. 27, 2021: Construction of Instantons. This is a student report I gave at the Hua Loo-Keng Seminar organized by Prof. Di Yang. It is an honor class for students in Hua Loo-Keng Talent Program, during which every students are required to give two talks concerning some advanced topics.
  • Apr.13, 2022: Construction of Instanton Moduli Spaces. This is the second report in Hua Loo-Keng Seminar, continuing the topic that I talked about last time. I discuss about the local model of instanton moduli spaces characterized by Atiyah-Hitchin-Singer complex. Here is my final report for this course based on these two talks: An introduction to Donaldson's polynomial invariants.

  • Jul.2021-Nov.2021: Geometric Analysis. Organized by Asso. Prof. Xiaowei Xu, USTC. We learned some topics in Peter Li's book Geometric Analysis.
  • Jul.2021-Jun.2022: Algebraic Topology. Organized by Asso. Prof. Bailin Song, USTC. We learned the classical book of R. Bott and L.W. Tu: Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology.
  • Nov.2021-Apr.2022: Morse Theory. Organized by Asso. Prof. Xiaowei Xu, USTC. We learned the classical book of J. Milnor: Morse Theory.
  • Oco.2022-Now: Algebraic Surfaces. Organized by Asso. Prof. Bin Xu, USTC. We are going to learn Kodaira's book: Theory of Algebraic Surfaces.
  • Sep.2022-Now: Étale Cohomology. Organized by Prof. Yang Cao, USTC. We are going to learn Klingler's notes on étale cohomology and Weil's conjecture.
  • Sep.2022-Now: Lie Groups. This is a student seminar studying the classical book of Duistermaat and Kolk: Lie Groups.
  • Sep.2022-Now: Geometric Measure Theory. This is a student seminar studying Simon's Tsinghua lecture notes.

Beyond Math:

My life outside mathematical world is hopefully designed to be more colourful. I play riff guitar in my band eclipse. We share common interests in Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oasis and so on. For my personal taste, I enjoy Guns N' Roses in my old days. See the photo above when we were covering PF's High Hopes and I was playing the outro.

Besides, I like literature and history, particularly Chinese classical literature. My favorite piece is A Dream in Red Mansions. Also I find it immersed to read novels especially Haruki Murakami. I have to say that I didn't read a large amount of classical works but I indeed enjoy my time keeping track of joys and sorrows of different characters in virtual and real world so I keep on reading from time to time.
